Data Protection Notice (KVKK Clarification Text)
This notice is provided by SERMATEK MAKİNA SAN. VE DIŞ TİC. LTD. ŞTİ., as data controller, to fulfil the disclosure obligation under Article 10 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). It complements our Privacy Policy.

2. Personal data processed and method of collection
Your identity and contact details (name, salutation, e-mail, phone, company, country, address), your request content (message, product of interest, subject, language) and — if you use the customer portal — your account and product-ownership data are collected through the forms and portal on our website, electronically, by automated or partly automated means.
3. Purposes of processing
- Handling your quote and contact requests and communicating with you,
- Managing your customer-portal account and product/warranty records,
- Providing service and after-sales support,
- Ensuring information/system security and preventing abuse,
- Fulfilling our legal obligations.
4. Legal grounds (KVKK Art. 5)
Establishment or performance of a contract; compliance with a legal obligation; the legitimate interests of the data controller; and, where necessary, your explicit consent.
5. Transfers
Your data is shared, on a limited basis, with our e-mail (SMTP) provider, Telegram (if enabled), Cloudflare (for bot verification) and our hosting provider. Cross-border transfers are made with appropriate safeguards under KVKK Art. 9. See the Privacy Policy for details.
6. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11
You have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to request rectification or erasure, to object to processing, and to request remedy of any damage. Submit requests per the Data Subject Request page or to kvkk@sermatek.com.
