Often, massive and cumbersome devices are needed for deep strokes, while windows for printing wide templates in a single pass are lacking in confined spaces. The Dotpeenator™ PR144 Heavy Duty Portable Dot Peen Marking Machine is specifically designed to perform the deepest and widest portable marking operations in its class, despite its compact body dimensions.
Featuring an ergonomic handheld design that allows the operator to comfortably carry it on the part, the PR144 offers a very large working window of 140x40 mm. This large area allows you to process long serial numbers, detailed technical texts, large logos, and 2D DataMatrix/QR codes that can be read flawlessly by part tracking cameras in a single operation without lifting the device. The powerful pneumatic (air-powered) stroke mechanism creates deep micro-strokes on the metal surface, ensuring precise marking. It ensures perfect readability even after challenging secondary processes such as painting, sandblasting, shot-blasting (sandblasting booth), or heavy corrosion.
The rigid aluminum housing structure is equipped with stainless steel dust covers that protect the linear axes and mechanical components from external factors. This allows it to operate 24/7 continuously and with zero errors without losing accuracy, even in dusty, oily, and burr-covered foundry and machining environments.
